DOG DAY OUT

Spend a little time to feed our pets, mornings or afternoons or even both!  Our team would love the help and support to feed the pets in our care and what a rewarding way to give back and support us.

FEED THE HUNGRY

Our dogs would love the pleasure of your company, they can't get enough of spending time with new friends and the great outdoors, solo or group walks and play yard time are essential to all our dogs.

WALKIES!

Our cats just love cuddles!  Spend some time with our fluffy kitties, socializing them with people and other kitties.  Playtime is always a fun time! Solo or groups are always welcome at our cattery.

MEOWSER!

Meet and greet visitors to the SPCA of Polk County, help with with questions, direct them and introduce them to their hopeful forever pet.  Your help supports our adoption team and improves adoption chances.

MEET & GREET

Get bubbly with our pets and make them sparkle.  Bathing and grooming our fluff machines is a fun splish-splash way to entertain yourself and others.  Bonus is they'll smell and look fabulous!

BUBBLES & BATH

Who says cleaning and dusting needs to be hard work?  Well, lots of people to be fair but we know there are some who love nothing better than to make a space shine, we need you to help make us sparkle.

SPICK & SPAN

Yes, launder....not money but towels!  Also blankets, toys, leashes.  Always check to ensure there's no sneaky puppy or kitty hiding in the bundles.  They love nothing better than clean blankets and towels!

LAUNDER

Change happens when people's voices are heard.  You could be one of those voices in your community.  We need advocates for animal welfare to improve the lives of all animals in our communities.

ADVOCATE HERO

Finding homes for pets, sometimes means we have to send them far and wide, transporters and those to organize them are key to our success, a direct impact to saving lives.

TRANSPORT WIZ

Remember when you first volunteered?  It's like that for most volunteers, how refreshing would it be to have someone help you navigate the how's and why's.  That's why we need great mentors like you!

Yes, you can be considered a real wizard!  You can put your wizarding skills to the test and magic up some funding through your superior use of the language, grammar and punctuation!

GRANT WRITING WIZARD

Events can be tough, that's why only the best of the best join us, true, tried and tested, experts in maneuverability, skilled in the art of moving things and lifting things that might be slightly heavy.

EVENT WARRIOR

Yes, upperer is a real word and we're sticking to it!  We need your skills in fixing things, from doors to walls and more.  If you got what it takes to make things pretty and workable again, we need you!

FIXER UPPERER

Be their champion!  Use your creative side to find ways to entertain the dogs and cats in our care, provide them engaging treats, fun toys and activities to keep them entertained and you'll be their best friend for life!
